In his dual role as Director, OTC Markets Group International Ltd. and EVP, Corporate Services, Jason Paltrowitz manages the company’s international and domestic Corporate Services business, supporting more than 1,200 companies that trade on the premium OTCQX and OTCQB Markets.
Leveraging his background in financial services and expertise in cross-border trading, Jason spearheads sales initiatives and alliances to provide issuers with efficient alternatives to raise capital, access U.S. investors, and helps small-cap companies alleviate the cost and complexity associated with being a public company.
Philip Shum
Director of Listings Development, Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE).
Philip Shum has collectively over 20 years of sales, marketing, event management and product management experience in various North American companies.
Phil is the main point of contact for companies wising to go through the Canadian go-public process. He advises companies on the best practices of the listing process and ensures that they can meet all necessary requirements. Phil has presented on behalf of CSE at various conferences across North America and Asia.
Dr. Patrick Liew
Executive Chairman, GEX Ventures Group
Dr. Patrick Liew was founder and CEO of two different companies listed in the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). He was previously the regional CEO of a strategic advisory firm and was involved in listing the form in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Today, Patrick is actively involved in helping companies transform their business models, globalise their business and leverage on capital marker mechanisms.
Raj Dewan
Partner, McMillian LLP
Raj Dewan is a partner in the Capital Markets and M&A group with a practice that is focused on advising public and private companies in high-growth sectors (TMT, energy and agriculture), mid market investment banks, venture capital funds and family offices.
Raj has significant experience advising on cross-border transactions in and from Canada with emerging markets, specifically in relation to structuring, sourcing and implementing cross-border financings, inbound/outbound investments and international joint ventures between Canadian companies and corporate groups and family offices in China and the Middle East. Raj also works out of McMillan's Hong Kong office.
